Butler's Lodge

GV II

House. Early C19. Brick with pantile roof and stone dressings.
Single gable and 2 side wall stacks. Windows are glazing bar
sashes, those to the front with keystoned lintels. 2 storeys;
2 window range. Front has, to right, moulded round headed
doorcase with keystone and recessed 6-panel door with Gothic
fanlight. To right, an ogee headed shoe scraper. To left, a
window with panelled shutters. Rear wing has 2 smaller sashes
and a central moulded wooden doorcase with panelled door and
stone hood, flanked by single sashes.
