Probably originally 4 cottages, now 2 houses. C17/C18. Regular coursed ironstone
rubble. Continuous thatched roof. 4 brick stacks to left and ridge. Single
storey plus attic. 6-window range. 2 doorways. All windows and door openings
renewed. Cranham Cottage: bay window; right end windows to ground floor and
attic have moulded stone surrounds inserted casements and fragmentary remains of
hood moulds. Important corner site. Interiors not inspected. Included for group
value.
