House and attached forge. C18. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Thatched roof.
2 brick end stacks. House: 2-unit plan. Single storey plus attic; 2-window
range. Panelled door to left has moulded wood surround and wooden lintel. C20
thatched parch. A 2- and 3-light wooden casement to right have stop chamfered
wooden lintels and wrought iron casement fasteners. Attic has 2-light casements
with iron glazing bars and wooden lintels. Rear: Half-glazed plank door with
moulded wood surround and wooden lintel and 2- and 3-light metal casements. C20
extension to left. Interior: Chamfered beams, winder stair. Forge to right; Wide
wooden lintel to right above blocked entrance. To left a 2-light wooden window
with wooden lintel and a wooden lintel to a blocked doorway. Interior: C20
ceiled roof.
