GV II

House, Late C17/early C18. Two builds. Coursed limestone rubble. Steeply pitched
C20-tile roof. Stone/brick ridge stack. 2-unit plan extended to 3-units. 2
storeys. 4-window range altogether. Main part. Approximately central entrance
has panelled-glazed door with gabled hood. Entrance is flanked by a single-light
casement and a 2-light metal casement in wood frame, C20 casement to left. Wood
lintels throughout. First floor has three 2-light metal casements with hood
lintels. Most windows have lead cames crown glass, wrought-iron casement
fasteners and springs. Left part. 2 storeys. Single-window range. Blocked
entrance in left gable has wood lintel. Blocked entrance in elevation facing
High Street has wood lintel. First floor has a 2-light metal casement in wood
frame with similar details to right part. Interior not inspected. Included for
qroup value.
