A theological college mainly supported by Unitarians and transferred to Oxford in 1889. Built in Doulting ashlar with dressings of Darley Dale Millstone Grit in 1890-3 to the late Gothic designs of Thomas Worthington and F M Elgood. Includes the Arlosh Hall built in 1915 in Clipsham ashlar to designs of Sir Percy Worthington. The chapel was decorated by the Morris firm and contains good stained glass designed by Sir Edward Burne-Jones.
