House. C17 possibly with earlier wing to rear built into bank. Squared, coursed
ironstone. Steeply pitched C20-tile roof. Renewed stone ridge stack and stone
end stack. 2-unit C17 part with rear part forming L-plan altogether. 2 storeys
plus attic and cellar. 2-window range. Entrance porch on left with rear part.
End gable on left has 4-light stone mullions to ground floor and first floor and
similar 3-light attic window. Hood moulds and label stops. Renewed metal
casesents. Main elevation has a 3-light stone mullioned window with hood mould
and label stops and a 3-light casement in wood frame with wood lintel. First
floor has two 3-light stone mullion windows with renewed metal casements, hood
moulds and label stops. C20 roof dormer. Rear part has single and 2-light
casements to ground floor and 3-light windows to first floor. Straight joint
between C17 part and rear part. Interior. Hood spiral staircase. Stop-chamfered
beams, fireplace with wood bressumer and stone jambs.
