Two houses, now offices. c.1830-40. Red brick with stone dressings, hipped slate
roof, brick ridge and lateral stacks. 3 storeys and basement; 5-window range
altogether. 2 entrances reached via stone steps with railings. Entrances have
6-panelled doors, overlights and pilaster surrounds. 3 canted bay windows to
ground floor have sashes with glazing bars. First floor has 3 glazed doors and 2
sashes with glazing bars. Stepped stone voussoirs. Second floor has 5 sashes
with glazing bars and stepped stone voussoirs. Flanking pilasters through ground
to second floors. Moulded eaves cornice. Wrought-iron balcony to first floor.
Interiors not inspected.
