Late C19. Red brick with stone dressings and tile hung upper storey below
gable. Tiled roof, 1 and 1 1/2 storeys, 2 windows, elaborate stone square
bay window faces east.

The buildings of the Friar Park estate form a group. In adittion, the
lower lodge, entrance walls, gates and piers form a group with Ancastle
Cottage opposite.
