Late C18/early C19 facade to pair of cottages. Brick, No 31, painted
white, No 33, red brick with grey headers, red brick window and door dressings.
Low pitched slate roof with large central chimney. 2 storeys, 2 windows,
each in segmental arches with cambered head linings;- early C19 casements
but 1st floor of No 33 has sliding casements. Both doors have small flat
hoods on brackets. Grade II for group value.
Nos 5 to 35 (odd), and 45 to 65 (odd) Old Timbers and Friday Cottage and
No 73 form a group in association with Nos 4 and 6, No 10, Nos 14, 14A
and 16, Nos 54 and 56, The Anchor Hotel and Baltic Cottage opposite with
Baltic House Thameside.
