House and shop. RCHM 99. The house, except the shop part, is part of the
Mitre Hotel. C17 3-storeyed roughcast timber-framed with a gable and a modern
tiled roof. In the 1st floor are 3, and in the 2nd floor 2, C18-C19 sash
windows in moulded wood frames having moulded cornices. In the gable is
a 3-light casement window in a moulded wood frame with a moulded cornice.
Under the house is a C13 vaulted stone cellar (see Mitre Hotel in HIGH STREET).
