House. Probably C17-C18 in origin. 2-storeyed timber framed structure,
the ground floor being stuccoed and the 1st floor roughcast with a large
roughcast gable above it, in which is a C19 2-light casement window. Welsh
slate roof. In the ground floor is a double sash window in a Cl9 pilastered
frame and a plain doorway. The lst floor has a C18-C19 sash window in a
plain wood frame and small casement window. The east elevation has 3 ancient
rough cast gables. History. Formed part of an inn on the site of 97 St
Aldates which was burnt down in 1870, leaving the back part untouched.
