House. Dated rain water head on front "1795" but possibly built at an earlier
date. 3-storeyed red brick with cellars, moulded stone cornice, bands at
both floors and a renewed red brick parapet. 5 sash windows with glazing
bars and stone keystones with gauged brick architraves and stone cills, the
stone doorway has a stone scroll bracketed hood. On the East side is a 2-storeyed
modern stuccoed splayed bay. The interior is said to contain some C18 fittings.
The roof is not visible from the street. Internal alterations 1958.
No 5, New College Rooms and Nos 6 to 8 (consec) form a group.
