Small house, now shop and dwelling. Early C17 and C18. Timber framing with
rendered infill; coursed clunch rubble; old plain-tile roof. Single-unit plan
extended to 2 units. 2 storeys. Earlier timber-framed range, to left, has shop
entrance below a 3-light casement. Framing of front is faced with later
boarding, but framing of left gable wall is exposed and retains a first-floor
oriel window on shaped brackets with ovolo mouldings. Rubble unit, to right, has
further entrance, with C19 tiled open porch, and casements at ground and first
floors. Large projecting chimney, to right, is shared by a lower rubble range,
linked to a small rubble and weatherboarded barn, projecting to front. Interiors
not inspected.
