7/127 Stapleton's Chantry

GV II

House. Probably late C17 with C19 alterations. Large timber-framing; rendered
infill; old plain-tile roof; brick ridge stack to centre, end stack to
cross-wing to right. T-plan, with cross-wing to right. 2 storeys and attic;
3-window range at right-angles to street. 4-panel door with lean-to hood on
brackets enclosed by C20 glazed porch to right of centre. Irregular fenestration
of casements except bay window on brackets with casements to left. Interior not
inspected.
