approx. 50m. E

GV II

Coach house and service wings arraged around 3 sides of courtyard. c.1876,
contemporary with Barcote Manor (q.v.). English bond brick; tile roof; brick
stacks. Courtyard plan. Tudor Revival style. One storey and loft. Chamfered
segmental arches over doors and scattered fenestration of paired sashes. Granary
to right has irregular hipped dormers and terracotta ventilators. Coach house to
left has gabled 2-bay covered entry, of cast iron with Corinthian columns;
gabled dormer over with West arms and ball finial; roof surmounted by cupola of
mock timber framing. One-storey, one-bay blocks projecting into yard attached to
walls with two sets of double gates. Gabled roof; ridge stacks. Interior not
inspected. Included for group value.
