Thames Street elevation of "The Checker" (qv under 'Abbey').
To right of No. 18 and similar, but higher roof. Tile.
Two arched doorways, one with a door, lancet headed.
One storey. Three two-light mullion windows, flat arches.
Brick step to door.
Interior:- Formerly the Checker Hall, then a block of cottages before
being reformed as an 'Elizabethan' theatre with an apron stage.
