Farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17, altered during later C17, C20 alterations. Timber-framed on sandstone rubble plinth, part wattle-and-daub, part painted brick infill, Welsh slate roofs. Half H-shaped plan with wings extending to north-east; lateral stacks; central entrance to central block. Two storeys.
North-east front: central block considerably altered during C17 when the roof was heightened, one two-light C20 window and one blocked opening to left and two C20 cross-casement windows with leaded panes to right. Four-light C20 mullioned and transomed windows with leaded lights flank doorway with coved canopy and ledged door. Gable end of cross-wing to left with under-built jettied upper storey; two-light casement windows to upper floor and two C20 cross-casement windows with leaded lights to ground floor. Cross-wing to right appears to have been extended during the C17; three-light casement window. Square panelled timber-framing with V-struts in gables.
Interior retained mid-C17 staircase with splat balusters, according to RCHM, in 1932.
