Parish church. C13 west tower with C14 belfry stage. C14 nave and aisles converted C15 into aisleless nave. C14 chancel, altered C15. Restored 1898-1900. Flint with ashlar dressings and slate roofs. 3 stage square unbuttressed tower. Arched western light. 2-light louvred belfry windows with broken tracery. Crenellated parapet. Belfry is set-back. Remains of blocked aisle west windows. Nave with diagonal corner buttresses and 2 stepped side buttresses. 2 Perpendicular nave windows, restored. Blocked north double chamfered doorway with a holy water stoup to its west. Gabled south porch entered through a wave moulded arch. Knapped flint to south face. Wave moulded inner doorway and C15 arcaded door. Porch breaks into a buttress. C19 south chancel Priests' door. Cl9 diagonal east buttresses and 5-light C19 east window, its designer caught between Decorated and Perpendicular styles, achieving neither. Blank north chancel wall. Interior. Double chamfered tower arch. To left and right a blocked window of original aisles. Double hollow chamfered chancel arch with polygonal responds and capitals. Blocked north doorway. C19 scissor braced nave and chancel roofs, the former with 4 C19 tie beams. 17 C15 poppyhead bench ends. Cinquefoiled piscina in south-east nave wall. Square-headed piscina in north wall to left of segmental rood stair opening. Stairs to upper doorway survive. Dado of C15 rood screen comprising 4 subdivided traceried bays north and south of opening. Spandrels of tracery arches with carved vegetation and birds. C14 cinquefoiled chancel piscina below hood on labels. C14 octagonal traceried font. Cusped 2-light tracery to stem panels. Flowing and early Perpendicular tracery alternates in bowl panels.
