C17 flint house with early C19 buff brick front with moulded wood cornice. Steeply
pitched black-glazed pantile roof with coped gable ends, north end early C18
red brick with string course. South end lower pitched later roof; 2 storeys
and attic. Four windows. Sashes with exposed cases and glazing bars, left hand
later in reveals with stone lintels. Good early C19 doorcase off centre with
decorated panelled pilasters, fluted frieze with paterae, fluted and moulded
cornice, moulded architrave and panelled reveals, panelled and glazed door. Blocked
doorway to left. Two early C19 flat-roofed dormers with sashes with glazing
bars.
On north end (left) one storey wing: steep black-glazed pantile roof; buff brick
wall with parapet; pilastered doorcase with entablature.
Interior: chamfered beams, and C18 stairs with turned balusters and moulded rail.
C18 wing at rear: red brick with brick string course; hipped roof; 2 storeys;
2 windows, sashes with glazing bars, 1st floor thick glazing bars; interior:
ground floor room with fielded panelling.
