  • St Catherine: approach from the north; flint with ashlar exterior, c14 tower with Decorated window with timber belfry openings

  • St Catherine: view from the south; Perpendicular c15 aisle & clerestory windows, two-storeyed south porch

  • St Catherine: c15 nave looking east; Perpendicular arcades with octagonal piers & double-hollow chamfered arches

  • St Catherine: nave, restored 1891, looking towards five-light east window with reticulated tracery; c.1466 hammerbeam roof with Catherine wheels in spandrels

  • St Catherine: Marian rood, 15' 6" wide, set in tympanum of chancel arch set upon rood beam

  • St Catherine: royal arms of Elizabeth I, painted on canvas, now reversed facing chancel; 'non me pudet evangelium Christi, vivat regina Elizabeta'

  • St Catherine: sedilia & piscina with ogee arches; head corbels, crocketed pinnacles

  • St Catherine: late c15 rood screen dado on south side; St Gregory, St Jerome, St Edward the Confessor, St Walstan, St Lawrence & St Apollonia (first four from different artist)

  • St Catherine: St Edmund (king of East Anglia)

  • St Catherine: Henry VI, nimbed with crown, orb & sceptre; label 'Rex Henric Sext'

  • St Catherine: St Apollonia with tooth & pincers

  • St Catherine: brass inscription to Thomas de Honyngg; rector, 1351
