  • St Michael: present building dates from c.1300; Decorated clerestory windows, Perpendicular chancel & aisles, blocked south porch with c19 gable

  • St Michael: 90 feet tall west tower, c.1400; flushwork chequer at base, pinnacles with figures of evangelists, traceried sound holes below belfry stage

  • St Michael: Perpendicular north porch; embattled parapet, three niches under nodding ogee canopies, heraldic shields

  • St Michael: nave looking east; early c14 piers with double chamfered arches

  • St Michael: late c.15 rood screen dado representing three painted saints & hierarchies of Angels; probably English with Flemish influence

  • St Michael: north screen; St Apollonia (pincers), St Citha (keys), Potestates (Raphael fighting Devils), Vertues (purity), Dominaciones (triple crown) & Seraphim (fire of love)

  • St Michael: south screen; Cherubim (hand aloft), Principatus (palm branch), Throne (scales), Archangeli (defending city), Angeli (spear defending children), St Barbara (tower)

  • St Michael: section of rood screen dado

  • St Michael: late c15 screen representing King Henry VI (1421-1471)

  • St Michael: late c15 screen representing St Edmund the Martyr

  • St Michael: late c15 screen representing St Edward the Confessor holding gold ring

  • St Michael: brass inscription in relief to Thomas Amys, d.1445 eng. 1495, & wife Margery; Norwich work
