2. C17, originally one house. Tummores: stuccoed timber framing, steeply pitched gable-ended roof with black glazed pantiles. The south gabled end is brick faced with brick coping with moulded brick kneelers and string course, two circular attic windows and blocked windows, the gable is surmounted by large brick chimney with two octagonal moulded stacks. The front to street two-storeys, two windows, ground floor early C19 bowed shop windows with glazing bars and plain frieze and cornice, glazed and panelled door between with simple ledge hood; sash with glazing bars to right ground floor. First floor two two-light casements with glazing bars. Stuccoed at rear with short gabled wing, sashes with glazing bars, and small one storey and attic stuccoed wing. Cracknells: at right angles (to left) with gable end facing front, set back, two-storeys and attic, roughcast timber-frame, with steep pantile roof, ground floor large Victorian shop front with fascia, sashes and panelled door. First floor sash with glazing bars, small attic casement. Left hand return four windows, small casements, and two doorways, the gable end at rear brick with coping, string course, two small circular attic lights, rebuilt chimney stack at apex, the south side of this wing has early wood mullion window projecting but now plastered over. Interior: moulded beams. Graded for shop front.
