House, early C17, brick in English bond, pantiles. L plan, 3 bays 2 storeys attic and cellar with later wing to rear left. Principal range to north- east: 3 bays, 2 storeys and attic; English bond; clasping polygonal angle turrets with embattled caps, that to left rebuilt, high crowstepped gable parapets; sawtooth brick cornice with quarter circle moulding. 3-light casements with transoms and C19 frames, squared hood moulds of wood. Central C19 porch with pantiles and crowstepped gable parapet, rusticated quoins shaped brick kneelers, basket arch; wide 4-panelled door part glazed, C19 frame, fanlight. Returns wtih similar openings to ground and first floor, 3-light attic window with square wooden hood mould, right return with blocked basement window. Rear: left hand side with polygonal angle buttress and cornice as to principal facade. Shallow part-external stack (now capped) to centre, inserted C19 cross window to stair to right. Rear: right hand side with forward wing 2 bays wide and deep of mid C19; external stack (now capped to left return; crow stepped gable. Interior: cellar below right cell. Fireplace to right cell with reset parts of fire surround in rendered moulded brick. Left cell with ¼ moulding to tie beam, fireplace to centre of rear wall. C19 open string stair to central cell with curved oak rail, newel and stick balusters. First floor with thin partitions only. Stair to attic behind front range left within former large stack. Attic with 2 tier roof of staggered 14cm purlins, two purlins with lambs tongue chamfer stops; no partitions. Rear wing ground floor with canted tie beams.
