The Old House.

Former stables and hayloft. C18 and later. Knapped flint with brick dressings
and red brick with pantiled roof. 1½ storeys, with single storey lean-to,
to west, and courtyard walls extending from the north west and south east
corners. Earliest section to west, of flint, nearly C18, with central stable
door, first floor hayloft door and external access stair. Flanking windows
have segmental brick arches. Eastern section of brick has central door with
fanlight and flanking windows with wrought iron casements and segmental brick
arches. Attached C18 flint and brick wall to west. C18 brick wall to east,
extending across rear garden of the Old House has 4 'Bee Boles' one of which
is now blocked. Included for group value.
