Public house at time of listing, C18 and later. Red brick, colourwashed; pantiled roof. Two storeys. Range of five windows, irregularly spaced. Four segmental-headed sashes without glazing bars on ground floor, five two-light first-floor casements. Two entrance doors, one with double doors, doorcase with entablature on console brackets. Large off-centre axial chimney stack. Parapeted gables with brick tumbling. Internal stack on south gable. Saw-tooth brick eaves. Later extensions to rear.
