Public House, C17 with early C19 plastered front with parapet and heavy cornice
and rusticated ground floor. Two storeys. Seven windows (three windows on
right set back slightly with two large buttresses). Segmental headed window
openings with moulded bands arched over window heads with keyblocks. Sashes
without glazing bars. Right of centre a large open porch with Tuscan columns
and entablature with heavy modillion cornice. Plain flat headed carriageway
far right. The left hand four bays are the original C17 with steeply pitched
pantile roof with gable ends. The eight head three bays C18/19 with lower
pitched pantile roof. Long C18 painted brick wing at rear, two storeys, with
pantile roof. Interior chamfered ceiling beams.
