Former use unknown now shop. Late C16 altered and heightened in the C18,C20
renovations. Timber framed. Rendered. Pantile roof. Corner site. 3 storeys, jettied
at lst floor. 3 widely spaced first floor windows. Corner shopfront with
attached fluted columns and small hood on brackets. The shopfront
continues across Nos. 1 and 3 Bridewell Alley. Corner door and door to
the right of C20 picture-window blocked with C20 glazing. Sash windows
throughout with glazing bars in simple surrounds: 4 at lst floor. Fascia
cornice. Interior:- remains of 2 brick-built pointed barrel-vault profile
chambers at cellar level.
