6/6 Beaconsfield Farmhouse: stable
range approx. 20m. to W

Stables. C18, extended probably early C19. Coursed and random limestone rubble
with marlstone-ashlar dressings; plain-tile roof. Single range. One storey plus
loft. Earlier section to left linking with barn range (q.v.) has a central
stable door with loft door above and has 5 segmental-arched slatted windows.
Later section has a further stable door and 3 similar windows, all with
segmental arches. Interior not inspected. Beaconsfield Farm is on the site of a
Roman Villa.
