Farmhouse and adjoining former barn and stables. Late C18 or early C19 house. Coursed limestone rubble with stone slate roof. L-plan. Two storeys and attic. Integral dressed stone end stacks with chamfered offsets, weatherings and moulded cornices, and stone ridge stack at junction with rear wing. Pair of gabled dormers with 2-light wooden casements. Three-window front; boxed glazing bar sashes with stone cills and segmental-arched stone heads. Four-panelled door between first and second windows from left with margin-light rectangular overlight and moulded flat stone hood on shaped brackets. Later C19 wing to rear (see straight joints). Interior of house not inspected. C18 former barn adjoining to right, partly incorporated in the house in the mid-to late C19. Coursed limestone rubble with stone slate roof. Four bays. One storey and attic to left. Stone ridge stack off-centre to left with chamfered offset and moulded cornice. Gabled semi-dormer to left with 4-pane sash, stone cill and chamfered wooden lintel. Ground-floor 4-pane sash to left with stone cill and segmental-arched stone head. Gabled porch in second bay from left with blocked cart entrance (see straight joints and wooden lintel) and smaller inserted double doors with wooden lintel. Loft opening with wooden lintel in right-hand gable end. First-floor brick link to house in left-hand gable end. Two tiers of blocked triangular vents to rear and in right-hand gable end. Blocked rear doorway (see lintel). Interior of barn: left-hand bay now incorporated in house. Collar-and-tie-beam trusses and pairs of purlins. Late C18 stables adjoining at right angles to right. Coursed limestone rubble with stone slate roof. One storey and loft. Gabled semi-dormer to right with boarded loft door and 2-light wooden loft casement to left. Small ground-floor window to left with wooden lintel and inserted C20 metal casement off-centre to right with concrete lintel. Boarded door to right with wooden lintel and large boarded sliding door off-centre to left. C19 one-storey block adjoining to right. Squared and coursed limestone with C20 machine tile roof. Two boarded stable doors with wooden lintels, and 2-light window to left with wooden lintels. Interiors not inspected. These buildings form part of a complete farmstead group, including another larger barn and granary (q.v.).
