House. Late C17. Rough ashlar with coursed squared rubble in blocked
shop front to right; timber lintels; stone slate roof (slate to rear).
L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range, 2 tripartite ground-floor
windows have large-paned sashes with horns. First floor casements have
ovolo moulded lintels. 2 gabled dormers have casement windows and C19
ogee barge-boards. 2 gable-end chimneys, the left one finished in brick.
Door in C20 lean-to extension to left side behind boundary wall. Interior
of left ground floor room has flagstones, fireplace with stone arch, C19
reeded doorcase to woodlined stone newel stair with wooden mullioned
window in projecting tower incorporated into later wing at rear.
