House. C18. Coursed squared rubble; timber lintels; stone slate roof; 2
gable-end brick chimneys. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Large
ground-floor bay window to left of door with 4 raised and fielded panels
and 2 lights, screened by a late C19 wooden porch with wooden uprights on
low stone walls. 4-light mullioned and transomed window to right and
similar 2-light windows on the first floor. 3 rendered dormers have iron-
framed casements with leaded lights. Interior not inspected, but noted as
having a fine stone-arched open fireplace. Formerly a temperance inns
