Pair of estate workers' cottages. Mid C19. Planted half timbering and
pebbledash rendered infill on sandstone base, fishscale tiles separated
by plain tiled bands to overhanging roof. 1½ storeys, gable fronted,
2 single light windows to attic gables and 2 light casements to ground
floor, all with large diamond shaped panes separated by thin horizontal
bars, ledged and battened doors to left and right, shared central brick
stack. Half timbering imitates local C17 style, square panels with
concave lozenges and herringbone struts as decorative motifs.
