SO 28 NE CLUN C.P. BRYN

House. C14 or C15 with mid-to-late C19 remodelling and large
late-C19 addition. C19 addition: squared and coursed limestone
rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys and attic; gabled semi-dormers
and large integral stone end stacks. South-east front: 3 bays;
3-light wooden casements; central pair of French casements; main
entrance to North-west. C14 or C15 wing to North-east: timber
framed with coursed limestone rubble walls and slate roof with
catslide over outshut to South-east. 2½ framed bays. One storey
and attic. North-west front: central raking dormer with 2-
light casement. 3-light casements, that to left leaded; central
C20 half-glazed door; one storey lean-to to left with small 2-
light casement to front. Lean-to to rear with C20 casements and
door off-centre to left. Interior: full cruck trusses; large ground
floor joists; possible cruck blade re-used as principal rafter in
lean-to to North-east.
