Farmhouse, now house. Mid-to late C18 with later additions and
alterations. Red brick with chamfered stone angle quoins; slate roof with
coped verges and integral end stacks. Three storeys with plain floor bands
and moulded wooden eaves cornice. Three windows, glazing bar sashes with
slightly cambered heads. Central entrance; 6-panel door with rectangular
barred overlight in reeded doorcase with semi-circular capitals and
carved fan-like decoration above overlight. Single-storey mid-C20
red brick addition to left has Venetian window with reeded pilasters
similar to those of doorcase. Interior. Inspection not possible
at time of resurvey (October 1986) but likely to be of interest.
