1/120 Barn about 23 metres
north of Mercer
Farm House

GV II

Barn. Late C16 or early C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, on C19 brick
plinth. Hipped corrugated iron roof with gablets. Central porch to south
with lean-to canopy. Built at right-angles to road. Interior: only
rapidly inspected. 3½ timber-framed bays. Midstrey to second bay from east.
Jowled posts. Arch braces. Curved passing shores. Clasped purlin roof with
diminishing principal rafters and windbraces.
