GV II

Garden wall. Circa 1601. Red brick with grey sandstone ashlar plinth
and dressings. U-plan, adjoining the house to the north-west and
adjoining the moat bridge (q.v.) to the south, returning along the line
of the moat retaining wall (q.v.) for a short distance. Approximately
10 metres long. Chamfered plinth, flush quoins and chamfered stone
coping. Chamfered Tudor arch to north. Stone mounting block
adjoining to north-east. Albright Hussey (q.v.) stands within a
moated site.
