Railings, gate and gate piers. Circa 1849. Two square cast iron gate
piers with moulded bases, panelled sides, and tops with gables to each
face; cast iron pedestrian gate with plain railings and dogbars, and
bands of circular motifs to top and bottom rails, and dograil; cast iron
railings linking to English Lodge (qv) at right with poppyhead railings
and dogbars, top rail and dograil, and stone base. The main gate is now
replaced by a grid. Included for group value.
