Shown on O.S. map as White House Farm.
Farmhouse. Late C16, extended mid- to late C19. Timber framed on
brick plinth with painted brick infill and brown brick additions,
plain tile roof. C16 part of 3 framed bays with prominent mid- to
late C19 additions projecting at right-angles to right. One storey
and attic; framing: irregular square and rectangular panels, 3 from
cill to wall-plate with long slightly curving tension braces, jowled
wall posts and long straight tension braces to left gable end; 2
late C20 casements to left of glazed lean-to porch in angle with C19
additions, 3 gabled eaves dormers with fretted bargeboards; 6-panel
door behind porch and internal red brick end stack to left. Interior:
not inspected but likely to be of interest. C19 additions not of
special architectural interest.
