Barn and cartshed. C16 with C19 alterations and additions. Weatherboarded timber frame on red sandstone rubble plinth, of cruck construction; partly rebuilt in red brick. Corrugated iron roof. Three framed bays with later cartshed adjoining to right. Barn with pair of large boarded doors to right, pair of boarded doors to centre, and pair of low boarded doors to left. Two bay cartshed to right.
Interior: four full cruck trusses, cut off below collar; framed cross walls. The pitch of the roof has been lowered, probably at the same time as the crucks were truncated. The barn forms part of a small village-centre farmstead group also including Hall Farmhouse (q.v.) and a cow house (q.v.).
