House, latterly three cottages, two at time of listing. C17 with later additions and alterations, principally of mid-C19 and late C20. Timber framed with plaster and painted brick infill, red brick additions, plain tile roof. Original two-cell plan extended to left in mid-C19 by addition of brick-built No.5 (now part of No.4). One storey and attic; framing: irregular small square panels, four from cill to wall-plate, right gable end has long straight tension braces and queen struts from tie beam to collar; irregular fenestration, late C19 and C20 casements and one late C20 horned sash, four to ground floor and three tile-hung gabled eaves dormers above to left, right and centre; C20 boarded door to former No.5 to left and late C20 half-glazed doors to Nos.3 and 4; ridge stack between left and centre dormers and external end stack to right.
Interior: timber frame substantially intact with chamfered spine beams to old Nos.3 and 4; roof structure entirely re-built in 1984, but retaining original pitch.
