Pedestal tomb. Circa 1819. Sandstone. Square section with moulded
plinth and capping surmounted by scalloped urn finial with festooned
garlands. Fluted corner piers with fluted decoration to top and rosettes
to corners. Oval inscription panels with carved floral decoration to
spandrels, south commemorating Margaret Cureton (died 1819) and west
her husband, William (died 1833). Further inscriptions to various members
of Cureton family on other sides. Formerly stood within railed enclosure
of which moulded stone plinth survives.
