Lime kilns. Circa 1804. Roughly squared and coursed yellow/grey sandstone.
Pair of segmental-arched kilns with battered corner piers and canted
retaining walls. Earth banked up at rear. The lime kilns are sited near
the Ellesmere and Llangollen Canal and there was formerly a wharf here.
Brickwalls. Bridge, which spans the canal at this point, is not included
on this list. Edward Wilson, The Ellesmere and Llangollen Canal.
