House. C16 and C17 with late C19 and C20 alterations and additions.
Timber-framed, partly of cruck construction, with painted brick nogging
on brick plinth. Plain tile roof. Framing: C16 rectangular panels
and C17 square panels. Eaves raised by one panel, probably in C19.
Baffle-entry plan of two framed bays. Two storeys. Brick ridge stack,
just off-centre to left (rebuilt above ridge in C20). Three first-floor
windows and two ground-floor windows; C20 two- and three-light wooden and wooden-
framed metal casements. Roughly-central half-glazed door with C20
gabled porch. C20 one-storey addition to right with 4-light wooden
casement to front. INTERIOR: floor room with chamfered and stopped
beam and joists and right-hand ground-floor room with chamfered beam and
plain joists. Fireplace with chamfered wooden lintel.
