Boundary walls, railings and gates. Mostly C19. South and half of east boundary of Cary stone rubble with Doulting
stone copings averaging 3 metres high; on corner C20 ashlar gate piers with wrot-iron gates; remainder of east boundary
wall - in line with South Cottage (qv) - a lias ashlar base wall varying from 600mm to 1.2m high, capped by 1 metre
high railings in wrot iron, having spear-tops and curve-braced standards: the whole not only adds to the setting of
South Cottage but is important in the streetscape at a focal point.
