Road bridge. Probably C18. Ham stone roughly cut and squared, ashlar parapets. Two slightly pointed segmental arches,
with segmental-arched band course and parapets; parapets plain without copings as such, the north parapet incised on
road side with words 'Ilford Bridge'; slight pilasters to each corner; angled cutwaters on south side. Bridge
maintained by the Ilminster Trust, by whom this Curry Rivel to Chard road, via Ilminster was turnpiked in 1759.
