ST 5038 8/20 21.6.50.
Set back in garden. Early C19 front. 2 storeys. Hipped slate roof with one small
dormer. Plain eaves band. Flat pilasters divide front. Stringcourse. 4 1st floor
windows in sunk panels with semircular heads. 2 ground floor windows in
similar panels with segmental heads. Sashes with thin glazing bars. Round-
headed doorway has 1/4-columns in angle of reveals. Semi-circular fanlight
with tracery. 6-panel door. Second door to left. Later 1-storey extension on right.
Nos 3 and 5 form a group; also the listed buildings from No 3 to No 17 (on the North
east side), Glastonbury Abbey (see Magdalene Street), Abbey House Retreat, Wall
around grounds of the Abbey and Abbey Retreat House , all form an important group.
