Cottage, formerly part of Hapsford House estate (qv). Early C19. Random rubble, slate roof, eaves with decorative
bargeboards, ridge rubble stack. Single storey and attic, 2-bays, 2-light stone mullioned windows in plain stone
surrounds, each with a four-centred head, on first floor in 2 low gables; similar openings to ground floor in 2 canted
bays under hipped slate roofs with similarly decorated bargeboards, all openings have casements with Gothicised glazing
bars. Door opening in right return, C20 half glazed door. C20 single storey addition to left. Included for group value
only.
