Row of 3 cottages. C18. Rubble, roughcast, tile, pantile and triple- Roman tile roofs, single coped verge, brick
stacks. 1-plan. Montrose and Rose Cottage to right, 2 storeys, 4:2 bays, 2 and 3-light edge-moulded stone mullioned
windows, each light with a casement; Rose Cottage with weathered string above ground floor openings, central door
opening in freestone surround, C20 half-glazed door. Montrose with door opening in C20 gabled porch, flush door. The
Cottage set back to left with gabled wing at right-angles to frontage, casement with glazing bars in painted stone
surround on ground floor; 2 door openings, C19 panelled door, and C20 half-glazed door. Semi-circular stair turret on
left return.
