House, now hotel. C16/C17. Coursed and squared rubble, triple Roman tile roof, coped verges, 2 rebuilt rubble ridge
stacks and a C20 brick ridge stack. Cross-passage plan; 2 storeys and attic, 4 bays, irregularly placed 3 and 4-light
ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows under stopped labels, leaded lights, predominantly renewed, some cast-iron
casements. Door opening to second bay, C20 ribbed door, C20 stone hood on stone brackets. The building stands in the
ancient centre of Street. VAG report, unpublished SRO, 15 July, l974).
