House. Mid C19. Coursed and squared lias, free-stone dressings, one rendered, one rubble and one ashlar stack, coped
verges with bases for finials, triple Roman tile roof. Archaeologically correct early C17 style. Two storeys and
attics, 1:1:1:1 bays, 2, 3 and 4-light chamfered stone mullioned windows under stopped labels, second and fourth bays
in projecting wings with front facing gables, that to right with a continuous weathered string to ground floor with
shield stops, intials:-"DC, and "EC", to each end. Door opening in left wing in a moulded 4-centred head stone
surround, carved spandrels, emphasised keystone, label with sheild stops and initials:- "RC"; paired ribbed doors with
elaborate strap hinges. Two storey out-shut to left not of special interest. Interior with some small fireplaces in
dressed stone surrounds. Postulated as the dower house to Westholme House for Clarke family.
